Well, still not satisfied ;-)
The Dock. Yes. Another device I have to take with me and I have to buy additionally. Usually the iPhone is next to my bed, sometimes on my bed. Will the Dock work standing on my bed next to the pillow? I’m so sorry, but thinking about that one missing 3,5mm jack made my day.
What a mishap:
180€ BT ear phones, plus Dock 60€ — the 3,5mm adaptor for my own headphones, and the headphones themselves (just in case the battery of the AirPods is low), an USB to Lightning cable and the power adaptor, the charging unit for the AirPods and an additional cable for this charging unit. That is what I will need take with me when I go camping for three weeks with an iPhone7? Just to be sure I can charge and listen the same time and/or listen every time I want. Am I wrong?
With my 5s I need my headphones, the USB to Lightning cable and the power adaptor.
Or think about a long flight, maybe to Australia. Airports, changing planes, no sockets, my kids want to watch or play something on the phone, all at the same time in the aircraft. Loud environment, you may know. I used a 3,5mm adaptor with two jacks to get the kids’ headphones connected to the iPhone/iPad. (Two of those adaptors and you can connect three headphones) Well, tell me (sorry, no: ask Apple) how to proceed with two or three kids on one device without a 3,5mm jack when the battery is low.
And sure, strange behavior once again. Every kid can have its own device. Yes, and they already have. But sometimes kids really want to watch one movie together at the same time one device.
BTW.
Can I pair two or more pairs of BT AirPods with the iPhone7? Not talking about what might happen with six single AirPods, three kids in one aircraft for 12 hours. How many AirPods you have left when the family is leaving the plain?
puhua , and thinking about that, I fear the next generation iPad will also come without a headphone jack?
Will keep my 5s. Just in case.
Over and Out.
Sorry for all the trouble ;-)
