ApplePay, Felica, and non-Japanese Products

Hi,

I was wondering about something with the new release of iPhone 7 and the Apple Watch Series 2...

- The Felica technology will soon be in the NFC for iPhones that are shipped to Japan.

I'm assuming that goes for the Apple Watches that are shipped to Japan as well...

- Based on research, I have found out that the Apple Watch can use Apple Pay independently without mirroring from the iPhone, after the setup from the phone.

- Apple Pay is not supported in my country (U.A.E.) as of yet, but it will be early 2017.

A few questions come to mind:

Is the Felica technology exclusive for products from Apple of Japan?...

1) If I buy both an iPhone 7 and an Apple Watch Series 2 from my country, will I be able to use Felica (Suica card) when I travel to Japan?

2) If not, will buying only the Apple Watch Series 2 from Japan suffice, or do I also have to buy my iPhone 7 from Japan?...

Hi

Apple has advised that "iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and Apple Watch Series 2 sold in Japan will support FeliCa Type-F NFC contactless technology".

From researching Apple Japan Website:

Any iPhone (5 and above) + Apple Watch Series 2 from Japan should be able to facilitate Felica based ApplePay as the chart below.
