No. They are not standard Bluetooth headphones. The interactions are more complex. The bottom of AirPods web page

says, "Requires iCloud account and macOS Sierra, iOS 10, or watchOS 3." So it works with supported Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Watch models.
