It depends how big is your video. There is no such thing as "the size of 4K".
It may fit in a dvd, a flash drive or be so short it could be sent via e-mail.
How big is it in the destination format?
When I send it to youtube it says 8.8 GB
You may want to check with your client but unless they have other requirements I suggest export a a master file (choose Computer in settings - this will produce an mp4 file with H264 codec) and deliver in 16GB flash drive.Anyone can be able to play that, no need for special software or a bluray drive.
Again: ask your client.
Thanks. I hope they can open it then...
I have just remembered that I tried store a Master file in a 128GB usb and it would not accept it.... The file was 14GB
Good point.
FAT (as they usually come pre-formatted), does not support files larger than 4GB.
Format the flash drive as ExFAT. It supports big files and can be read and written by both mac and windows.
How do I do that??
Use Disk Utility (it is in /Applications/Utilities but you can also access it easily using Spotlight: command-space and start typing the name of the program, and press enter):
Select the drive in the left and click Erase. Change from "MSDOS (FAT)" to "ExFAT".
This will erase all information on the drive.
Thank you, it works now!!! Excellent!🙂
