ios 9.3.5 airdrop not working between my iPhone 6 and iPad Pro

Hi everyone,

just tried now to send a photo from my iphone 6 (ios 9.3.5) to my ipad pro (ios 9.3.5) and apparently I can't find any of them via airdrop... anyone had any similar issues? I've seen people having problems connecting to their Macs but not the ipad-iphone ones...
