iOS 10 - Emoji's not appearing in predictive text

Updated to iOS 10 today. Still playing around with it and trying to figure things out. However one thing that a few friends of mine can do that my iPhone won't is display an emoji in the predictive text section once you enter a word that has an associated emoji.

I've tried disable/enable predictive text, resetting text dictionary and adding and removing keyboards and languages like suggested online. Also tried changing these settings and hard/soft resetting the phone. No dice.

Now I'm SOL cause I wiped my dictionary clean that I've been building up for some time. Back to the auto-correct "duck" if you know what I mean 🙂

A couple colleges at work can get emoji's in predictive text while myself and another person cannot.

This feature does not seem to work anywhere in the phone, iMessage, Notes, Email ... etc.

Anyone else having this issue reading this?

I'm using an iPhone 6S Plus.

Thanks

I have just received my iPhone 7 plus and have had the iPhone 6s Plus for a year and been using the emoji feature and the auto suggest as well . But with the new 7 plus it will only allow it to do the emoji replacements if you tap he emoji button . I have tried removing and replacing the emoji keyboard to no avail . My 6 s plus has no issues with this what so ever. I don't understand why it is doing this . I am very familiar with Apple products as I am 2nd ranked in the Beta Family . I see many others having this same issue . This phone has been active for a week now so it should be doing the emoji replacement suggestions by now . And I have checked the settings . I have it all turned on correctly there for them to appear . In the keyboard and spelling settings .. Thanks for any help ..

Kind Regards Tim
