Ios 10 photostream

Help!! Since iOS 10 I do not have a photo stream album!! My settings are all set for iCloud and photo stream. Other users on my account with iOS 9 can see my pictures but I can't see their's. please help!!

If iCloud Photo Library is OFF, your photos are being backed up by the automatic iCloud backup, or by the manual back up NOW setting. If you use iTunes, your photos will be in that backup.


Once you turn iCloud Photo Library ON, your photos are being synced to iCloud, not backed up.


Please check the links you have been given for more details on the different modes/settings for photos and iCloud.

Well, your Camera Roll will be saved to backups, and the last 30 days or 1000 photos in your Photo Stream (whichever comes first) will be in iCloud. However, neither iCloud Photo Library nor your device backups are a good place to archive your photos.


If you want to make sure that all of your photos are safe and stored somewhere, then you should be importing them to a computer, and then backing up the photo files on an external drive:
