It's a breeze for space aliens to enter Earthling Apple ID computer systems - they weren't reading your mind, they're hackers - they were responsible for the Phishing deluge a while back
I think it is intended to be like this. But it looks ugly as ****.
Please Apple… it can't be too hard to get the clock centered even if there is a 2 column widget area. Steve Jobs wouldn't have allowed it to look like this… 😠
new clock location is visually displeasing. it annoys me everytime i open my ipad to look at it. please add option to change it back to normal.
Thanks!!
I accidentally moved my jeyboard halfway up the screen.. not sure how and can't seem to figure out how to undo it. Has anybody read or figured out how?
So what's the the answer guys is it by design (that they put it off center in landscape) or is it a bug? I surely don't like it, looks like an error. It's not like you can't slide a centered clock over to display widgets. shake my head (sick of acronyms as well)
It is by design, it is not a bug. Feedback to Apple goes to their feedback site, and the link was posted above.
The reason why they moved the lock screen clock off-center is to show more content (notifications) in a glance instead of having to scroll through them. As an added bonus, to the users listening to music in landscape mode get a full view of the music controls with its album art, and the notifications relocated at the left side under the clock, which makes viewing notifications and controlling music unobstructed.
I believe there is no fix to bring the clock back to the center, unfortunately. Personally, I find the change much pleasing because I get to see what's playing more clearly without my notifications making the album art disappear.
why must it from the top left? Any specific reasons?
We are fellow users, as far as I know Apple haven't said why they moved it
Cool, there shall always be a reason..
Folks here have "guessed" that it is to give "order & space" to the the array of app icons
I Love the new clock location! It works great with my lock screen wallpaper. Centered is so boring!!
+1.
