Activity sharing not working at all

I'm having problems with activity sharing. I have two friends, both are on iOS 10 and watchOS3. I can add them, they get the notification and agree and then NOTHING happens. The wheel in the activity app on iOS keeps spinning and spinning. Anyone experienced this? Tried to delete the invitations and re-submit, but not working either.

I am getting the same thing. My wife is getting the same thing. We both have unpaired our watches and paired as a new watch. She also got a message stating that my apple ID does not have a watch. I checked my cloud account and it seems to be fine. I spent 1.45 hours with apple care yesterday and problem is not resolved. I have an appointment this morning with upper tier support. Well let you know if successful.

This is exactly what to do to resolve. I already shared activity with my partner however as soon as i updated to software version 3.2 this had dropped off. Trying to send a share request always then caused an error. My partner sent me one, i could see it but could never accept it. i tried unpairing (About an hour process) and that never worked. However the simple sign out of icloud that had @me.com then sign back in to iCloud again but this time with @icloud,com resolved the issue perfectly and now I can send and accept requests no problem and recommend anyone to do this.

Thanks for posting this resolve 🙂

Having the same issue...

On my phone/watch I see the two people I have added. Yet both show no activity on either device. However, one of those people, who only has me on their end, sees my activity just fine.

When he toggled the 'show/hide activity' on and then back off, I saw him go to Hidden, but now he stays there no matter what his toggle says. While he sees me on the phone, on his watch, my name doesn't even show up.

It's even worse here. Cannot send invites to my colleagues. But they can add themselves without a hassle.

Things i've tried so far:

1. Restarting iPhone and Watch

2. Signing out of my iCloud Account and in again

3. Tried different contact methods (phone nr., iCloud mail adresses)

4. Tried it from different networks (WLAN, LTE, and so on).

Still no luck. I'm beginning to think, it may be some setting on my iPhone which prevents adding friends. Everything else which has to do with my iCloud Account works without a hassle. So i'm quite stranded. Apple support so far has no clue either. They are totally helpless.
