How to unlock iphone on ios 10 while finger print sensor is damaged

Hi

i am nidheesh, i am using a iphone 6s based on ios 10 operating systom. After the update to ios 10 , i can't find out pasword unlock option on lock screen. My question is that, how to unlock a iphone if finger print sensor is damaged?


please answer me a solution.

Is it just the fingerprint sensor that doesn't work? If the home button itself works, then press it and you should be prompted to enter your passcode.


If the home button does not work at all, then I suggest you swipe to the right to get into your new widget view. Tap on one of the widgets to open the corresponding app. Since the phone is locked you will be prompted to enter your passcode and voilà.

This is a bit of a clumsy workaround but better than nothing I suppose.

If both are damaged you really really should get them fixed.


It's going to be very difficult to unlock the iPhone if both touch id and the home button click are non-functioning.


The only way to get to the passcode screen without a functional button is if you have a pending notification.


You can tap it one to attempt to open it, and it should display the Passcode screen so you can type in your passcode.


If you don't have a notification available to tap, there is no way to bring up the passcode screen without a functional home button.
