iOS 10 mail app move all/trash all

I just upgraded my iPad Air 2 to iOS 10. It appears as though the 'move all' and 'trash all' functionality has been removed from the mail app. When I view either of my inboxes (I have both iCloud and gmail accounts) and tap edit, only 'Mark All' is enabled. 'Move' and 'Archive' (gmail) / 'Trash' (iCloud) are both greyed out.

In iOS 9 (still installed on my iPhone), 'Move all' and 'Archive All' (gmail) / 'Trash All' (iCloud) are enabled when I tap Edit from either inbox.

Has Apple removed this functionality in iOS 10 or changed the way it is accomplished?

I would like to delete all emails in my box, but I don't have "trash all" buttons . And "select all" doesn't give me choices "delete"

I too am dismayed at this idiocy. Where do theses guys get the idea I have time for this.

When my iPhone 6 dies, I may have to leave this community :-(

Thank you so much! I miss the trash all command, as well. I'm disappointed in Apple for giving such a ridiculous reason for regressing.

Can't believe this function was removed, absolutely ridiculous. The work around doesnt really help if you, like myself search large quantities of emails to select all and delete from an inbox

I want Trash All back, too. If Apple does not choose to restore it, is there another mail app that works better?

Still wading through the User Agreement and Privacy Statement from Edison Software. You know what they say ... if you're not a paying customer, you're the product. 🙂

Is there an Edison email that supports pop accounts....? The one I found appears to only support imap...
