Bluetooth Connection Issues ios 10

I have an issue where my 6s with iOS 10, connects but completely disables radio audio. It doesn't matter if on fm or sat radio. It happens on my Mercedes and my Harley. If I disconnect the bluetooth, both radios play normally. I have tried forgetting the device and connecting again. Nothing works. Does anyone else have this issue?

I have the same issue. iOS 9 worked fine. Since i upgraded to iOS 10 my brand new BMW now has problems. Phone connection works fine. But as soon as I connect music the whole BMW system crashes - no radio, no navigation! After restarting the BMW the phone is still connected but nothing is working.

After disconnecting and connecting the iPhone, same problem.

Like with the iOS 8 update it is another bluetooth buck from Apple - again. Doing a failure once is ok but the second time ....

At least I can use the bluetooth phone. At for the music I have to use the adapter because I have a new iPhone 7 now and thanks to the missing headphone port I can not use my AUX!

Tim Cook said in a interview "We removed it because the future is wireless!" - As long as Apple is not copy the bluetooth bug in a major software release ;-)

I have the same issue, since iOS 10 upgrade the bluetooth is buggy with my 2016 BMW.

The audio player cannot be controlled via iDrive or the car's controls.

I agree with the previous writer, that it's concerning that Apple screws this up.

2013 BMW 335i - buggy connection, locking up the IDrive, not recognizing the phone, switching from music to answering phone calls will freeze the music streaming. Welcome to IOS 10 and Iphone 7...... terrible quality control and testing.

Same issue here with 2011 ReBaylor Laguna. Connects innitially then disconnects after about 2-3 min. Disables all Bluetooth and telephone options.

Bad, bad , Apple!

I'm seeing a similar problem with my Bluetooth headset on my iPhone 6 Plus since upgrading to iOS 10. It will randomly disconnect and then reconnect a few seconds later. I tried doing a reset of all network settings, which initially seemed to help, but the problem returned.

That was Renault Laguna.

Same issue. I have 2012 Mercedes GL 450 with MI Plus system. It is very buggy and cutting in and out. I have already done what alex_h1 recommended and it is still cutting out and skipping. Don't think that's the issue.

All fixed with today's 10.0.2

I faced same Bluetooth issues after ios 10 update. faced issues with mostly all BT connections - Car (Toyota 2012), Moto Gen2 watch, Jabra BT headset. Amazingly it did not affect Microsoft Band.

This is what I did -

Go to Settings app → Tap on General → Scroll down and tap on Reset → Tap on Reset Network Settings → Tap on Reset Network Settings again from the bottom to confirm.

I did add the devices again..

So far its working fine. But I do expect it fail soon. And when it happens am saying my Final Good Bye to Iphone...

IOS 10.0.02 update, reset the network settings, still buggy. In the moment that i'll change a song in Apple Music, the Idrive in the BMW just locks up. Works fine trough the lightning cable.

Same issue on my 2015 BMW i8. I am using iPhone 7 (bought in Hong Kong Apple store), iOS 10 and Apple Music.

Bluetooth connection are always disconnected after 1~2 minutes when I connect to my car. Really annoying everyday when I drive.

I am seeing similar issues with an iphone 5s, IOS10, a 2014 Audi S4 and a 2011 Chev Truck. When I get in the vehicle, and the bluetooth connects, the vehicle thinks there is an active call. In order to get the radio to work, I have to end the call with the vehicle.

If everybody will call and create a ticket maybe this issues will be resolved. I called yesterday and they had no idea of the Bluetooth connectivity issues with BMW's. Only Nissan's per their comments.

So go ahead peeps. Call! That's the only way.
