IOS 10 & Ford Sync 3 No Bluetooth Audio

Hello Everyone,

I updated to IOS 10 on my iPhone 6S Plus yesterday. I tried making calls when connected via Bluetooth with Ford Sync 3 (2016 F150). I'm not getting any audio. I can end the call from the Sync screen. I see the call is connected. The Sirius radio keeps playing and doesn't shut off.

I tried deleting(forget) the Bluetooth Sync device from the iPhone. I then deleted the iPhone profile from the Sync system. I re-paired the iPhone and the same issues persists.

It appears IOS 10 and Sync 3 on the F150 don't work well.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Update on the issue. I force closed all the open applications. Then rebooted phone. Went back out to truck and Bluetooth calls started to work. Hopefully it stays this way.

My husband has the same problem. His carrier says there is nothing wrong with the phone(He upgraded to a IPhone 6S) so I took the truck to a Ford dealer and the shop foreman told me that he needed an upgrade on the computer system for the truck (Ford F150 2013). I was told that the computer systems need to be upgraded to support the newer IOS 10.

I have pretty much the same problem but with "SYNC with MyFord Touch" on a 2013 Edge and an iPhone 7. When a call comes in the iPhone freezes (it displays the call connected screen but the call timers locks up and doesn't count, and the phone gets stuck on a frozen "in call" screen (the one that shows mute, speaker, end call, etc.). This only started happening with iOS 10.1.1 and the previous few updates, I did not have problems with iOS 10.0. The same issue happens if I attempt to make a call out or use the Ford voice command to make a call.
