Problems with "Parked Car" Feature (iOS 10 Maps)

I have iPhone 6 and VW Passat 2015 equipped with Discover Pro audio and so far I haven't managed to make this feature to work. Pretty odd 😟

Did a software update on my car's Uconnect system yesterday. Still no luck. I wonder if there are certain phone/radio combos that just don't work. Has anyone else gotten this to work with a 5s/Dodge Uconnect combo? I'm using the latest iPhone version, the latest Uconnect version, on a 2016 car, and all the settings are correct on the phone. The only thing that isn't new is the phone hardware itself. I'm seeing mostly posts about the 5s and 6 not working. Is it possible this feature only works on 6s or newer?

I wonder if there's no connection between this feature and frequent locations feature...It seems like FL stopped writing data about my locations after ios 10 update (no new dates appear in FL section)...maybe that's why it can't determine where you are...It still doesn't work..

I have the exact same problem on my 5s. The only thing I did not test yet is re-pairing my phone with the car.

Tried pairing and impairing, nothing works....

So I tried to set up a 6S as a new phone, paired it with my car (VW Passat 2015) BT, checked all the settings and the feature is still not working 😟

I think someone said in another thread that the Frequent Locations setting needs to be turned on under Settings-->Privacy-->Location Services-->System Services-->Frequent Locations

i just discovered, that my carstereo disconnects when I'm leaving. (.As it's supposed to do )

But in the battery widget the stereo is still listed. I only can get rid of it when restarting the phone.

mayby for some reason that's why iOS thinks it's still in the car ? Could you check that with your devices?

yes my car stereo battery shows in widget at 100% all the time even when away from car.
