Problems with "Parked Car" Feature (iOS 10 Maps)

Hi there, the same situation here, all options are 'on' and this feature doesn't work on my iPhone 5s.

Sorry to tell you. I tried it and that doesn't help me. More and more I'm sure it's the 5s. It seems it's not supported.

I think Apple should make an announcement to inform their customers.

I don't think it's a matter of 5s, it doesn't work at my friend's 6 as well

I have an iPhone 6 and my BF does, too. Car park worked on his phone but not mine. I tried everything but what finally worked was restoring all settings and re-pairing the phone with bluetooth.

I tried to reset first network and location settings then all settings, but didn't help...they advise to set up an iPhone as a new device but honestly this means erasing everything and setting this up all over again.

Hi. Could there be any relation to the bluetooth-name of the car radio. ( maybe it has to be carxxxx or something like that)??

Speaking with apple, they advised that restoring iPhone as new is not advised as it would not make a difference.

It has been suggested that it has to do with the stereo in the vehicle and depending on age, IOS10 can't tell whether it is a Stereo or merely a headset, therefore it won't drop a pin on the map.

My stereo manufacturer is going to do a test and see if it is stereo firmware related or not.

I have reset my phone and paired to my car stereo and it still does not work, even though all the settings on the phone are correct.

I have Ford Mondeo/Fusion 2015, with SYNC2 entertainment system, it's pretty new, and still doesn't work...anyone with the solution ?

Hi Miri88 an all of you who got that feature working. Whats the bluetooth id of your stereo. My idea: maybe ios10 has to know wether its a headset or the car stereo (as mentioned below) Best case, it would not be an isue of an old radio but only that there has to be "CAR xxxx" in the id. (or simular).

I'm using a Uconnect system on a 2016 Dodge Challenger. Seems new enough that it should work.

I just checked out the Uconnect web site, and entered my VIN number, and it turns out there is a software update for my car that was released on 9/6/2016. Going to install it right now and I'll let you all know if it makes a difference.

I just did a test. My friends car has this feature working fine, so I paired my phone with his car and drove and parked and the feature still did not function.

therefore it is not a problem with older car stereos but something with phone or software?

I Have the same issue with iPhone 5s. Have reset all settings, deleted Bluetooth pairing on car and phone.

I know it isn't the firmware on the stereo, the device name 'MY CAR', or the age of the stereo, as it works OK with my son's iphone 6.

I have now also tried a full reset on my iphone 5s, and restore from icloud backup. still no joy. I'm sure that this did work at some point in one of the public betas.
