Two weeks ago Instagram updated to zoom.
I have the latest updates in IOS and Instagram, but I cannot zoom into pictures.
It's a great, new feature, and today my makeup artist showed me the feature on his iPhone 5 (or was it a 4, it was tiny)
For his older iPhone is was working, but I can't zoom in my 6 plus.
Why? What's wrong with my iPhone 6 Plus that this feature isn't working?

Just downloaded latest instagram update. Zoom still not working.
Yeah, you're right! I just added her account again in my phone and zoom didn't work at all. I didn't even need to wait for 3 hours, didn't work for the first picture. So indeed is account related!
This worked for about a day then it went right back to not working again... and I have the 7.
Same problem here. I managed to get the zoom working 2 seperate times but less than 24 hours later, it went back to not working.
Phone 6 Plus, iOS 9.3.5
I deleted the app,hard reset, reinstalled and it worked only when I first logged in. Once the screen went off and I went back to the app, it wouldn't work. Anyone have any insight??
You took the exact steps I took and got the exact same results.
It seems that instagram fixed the zoom bug. I have been able to zoom since yesterday suddenly.
I hope it's working for the rest if you all.
