I Have noticed this as well. I do not use Touch ID or passcode so that can't be the problem.

Anxious for a resolution.

I'm not seeing how this helps - I do not use Touch ID or a passcode - so both turned off - I have also restarted my iPad- auto lock still not working

above suggestions did not work for me, but what worked is turning auto lock off then back on.

Go to Settings>Display & Brightness>Auto Lock set to never. then go back to main setting screen then push home key.

Go back to settings>Display & Brightness>Auto Lock then set to 30 seconds.

Did not work - my problem is with my iPad - my phone auto locks just fine - both have been upgraded to ios 10.

Cannot believe I am the only iPad user with this problem.

You are not alone. Have the same issue with iPad Air. No auto locking since IOS 10.0.2.

So far have not seen any fix that works for iPad.

I have the same problem with my ipad air 2 after upgrading to 10.0.2.......any solution guys?

Backup to iTunes then erase and wipe it back to a new device (settings> general>reset) then restore your iPad From iTunes

My iphone6+'s auto-lock working well.

but my ipad air2 has same problem.

I'm trying to recover from the dfu mode, reset my passcod and turn off iCloud.

But I can not fix it

I Have tried everything! Including resetting to factory settings and not re-installing my backups for a week just in case the bug is on one of my Apps. But nope! My iPad Pro still doesn't wanna Auto-Lock. It would for a coupla days after reset, but would go back to refusing to Auto-Lock. I have taken it the iStore twice. Still not working. I've run out of ideas now.

This, after I've upgraded to iOS10!
