iOS 10 Auto-Lock not working.

I have also had this problem with my iPhone 8

I’ve tried everything mentioned below and more, still my iPhoneX won’t auto lock. Where’s the bug fix update Apple???????

OMG! This happened to me and it was driving me crazy but I've finally figured out that the fingerprint ID finally works correctly and I most always start my phone up with my thumb! Doh! Since it didn't really work before I didn't realise why the suto lock was only working some of the time!

That also happened to me. My batter ran down, and when recharged the auto-lock had changed To 30 sec from never. In "Settings>General the auto lock was greyed-out and it had turned on Battery Saver. I have done that and turned-off my passcode and restarted. Then the auto-lock has now disappeared completely and I'm stuck with 30 sec auto-lock. I have iOS 10.3.2. Help!!

Auto Enable Passcode on Lock screen

Screen Time out and Auto lock passcode time interval now separated in iOS 10. Unlock iPhone/ iPad screen now using home button possible, Before Passcode enabled on device. That we can manage, Go to the Settings > Touch ID & Passcode > Require Passcode.

(Shorter time is more secure)

I tried this:

1. Turn off passcode at Settings > Touch ID & Passcode > Turn Passcode Off.

2. Restart your device.

3. Turn on passcode at Settings > Touch ID & Passcode > Turn Passcode On. (Do not delete your saved finger prints.)

This worked for me. Auto Lock works once more.

I have a related problem. The update changed my "Auto-Lock" setting to 30 seconds (too short!) then ghosted the slider in "Displays and Brightness" so I can't change it back. I've tried the suggestions re: Passcode and restarting several times.

This cleared up after recharging. I wonder if it is related to "Low Power Mode?"

Thanks! It worked for me. I didn't turn the passcode back on though.

I Have noticed this as well. I do not use Touch ID or passcode so that can't be the problem.

Anxious for a resolution.

I'm not seeing how this helps - I do not use Touch ID or a passcode - so both turned off - I have also restarted my iPad- auto lock still not working
