My iPad is on IOS 9.3.5 and says the software is up to date. I would like to install IOS 10

I have a 32 GB iPad and would like to install IOS 10. My iPad is on 9.3.5 and when I try to update get a message that the software is up to date.

iMac (27-inch Late 2009), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Probably an indication that your model isn't supported for 10.


Check the compatibility list at the bottom of this page: https://www.apple.com/ios/ios-10/

IMPOSSIBLE!

For starters, there is no iOS 10.3.5.

For compatible iPads, we're only up to iOS 10.3.2!

Next, you are mistaken about your iPad 2 running iOS 10, unless you have jail broken your iPad 2.

An iPad 2 can go NO HIGHER THAN iOS 9.3.5.

And, within a few months, will no longer be supported, at all, when iOS 11 is released for newer iDevices only.
