Probably an indication that your model isn't supported for 10.

Older iPads (Original 2010 iPad, iPad 2, 3 and 1st gen iPad Mini) are ALL ineligible to upgrade to iOS 10.

For starters, there is no iOS 10.3.5.

For compatible iPads, we're only up to iOS 10.3.2!

Next, you are mistaken about your iPad 2 running iOS 10, unless you have jail broken your iPad 2.

An iPad 2 can go NO HIGHER THAN iOS 9.3.5.

And, within a few months, will no longer be supported, at all, when iOS 11 is released for newer iDevices only.
