music not sorting by song name in iOS 10

Not so fast... solution provided"works" only in library mode... looking at all songs. As soon as you return to any of the (many) playlists it only sorts by artist or shuffles/randomize. I never listen to all my songs; I always play from playlists and I WANT to shuffle, sort by song title, or sometimes by artist. The stated solution almost never satisfies my needs.

If that's on the settings menu, it's not located there anymore. For some reason, under the new update, you have to actually go into the music app. Do that and in the top right hand corner after you go to "songs" there is a "Sort" option. Don't know why but it's from there now.

To be honest, I'm not sure if there is a way to sort the order of songs in a playlist; I've been trying for several minutes with no success so far. It seems on mine to be the order I add the songs in. Has anyone else had success with this?

I am right here with you @jasper.seven. My playlist sorts by the order I add songs without any option to sort. This is lack of BASIC functionality is the same with the Apple TV. The only device that seems to work appropriately is iTunes on the PC.

Based upon the 2-3 years of hassle it seems like Apple could care less about providing basic music app functionality. Apple, can you provide a plugin for iTunes so that I can use VBA to code in the functionality because this is quite frankly pathetic.

Under Music, under library, I am only left with on option 'Genius' off or on. It does not give me the sorting choice.

In Apple music, click on Songs -> Sort (top right) -> title.

They broke it again. 10.2 there is no option to sort by title for songs. Kinda ******

I can't sort any playlist by title. When I go to Settings, I don't have the option to sort by title. I'm on 10.3.2. So frustrating!

And that works for ALL songs, but not for any of the many playlists (that I can find anyway).
