I upgraded my iphone 5 to ios 10 and now I can't take a screen shot on any screen, Any suggestions?

I am not sure that there is a solution here, as the thread digressed to talking about the minor update version of iOS = 10.0.1 turned out to be the public release, so it became moot.

I would suggest restarting your iPhone while you wait for more informed folks to chime in.
Thanks for responding I updated to 10.0.1 I just discovered if i push the 2 buttons at the exact time, it will work Just appears to be a little different sensitivity than before. Thanks again!!

Same here, maybe you could use the Assistive Touch function at this moment.
It seems that you have to press the power button first and then your home button simultaneously. Before it was the other way around on my iPad 4..I haven't had a problem since doing it this way. Works for me everytime..I hope this helps.
