iPhone 7 animation lag...

Just picked up my iPhone 7 32GB.. Noticed a lagg when opening and closing a app for the first time.

When i press the home button and open the app again all goes smooth..
Already talked to Apple support, they suggested to restore to factory with IOS 10.0.1 and not to restore any backups.
Just did that, still lagg... Bit disappointment, my iPhone 6 was smoother..

Anybody else this issue? Must be! Check it out really good, I think this is gonne be reported alot!

I have the exact same thing as you Stephen Dawson1...I have the matt black and my wife has the rose gold, both 128gb mine was slower to the home screen and slower to double click and close the apps. I took mine back this last weekend and got a replacement then tested both phones straight away. I first of all set the new phone up as a new phone and not from a restore and both the new matt black and my wife's rose gold were equally as fast as each other. I was happy with the speed of the phone so I went and performed a restore from back up, however, on completion I retested both phones again and have the same slow response as I had before?! Must be something wrong or buggy with the back up but how to fix this speed issue and keep all the important information is confusing me. I want a fast phone but also want to keep all my information.

iOS 10 is an awful experience on iPhone 7. Everything is choppy, stutters and it drops frames every other second. Go into the messages app and scroll through your conversations and youll see. The scrolling is so choppy its disgusting. Apples software quality control is in the toilet at this point. The iPhone 6S outperforms the 7 by miles. Its embarrasing. Anyone tried iOS 10.2.1 beta and seen any improvement?
