After upgrading to iOS 10, I can no longer tap and hold on an image received and displayed inside a Mail message to Save Image to my camera roll from a pop-up menu. Instead, it appears to only be able to save the text of the URL associated with the image. Ditto for images from websites in Safari.

This absolutely works on iPhone 6 so that is good as far as it goes. I imagine it works on any device that has the 3D Touch feature.Unfortunately Apple really needs to understand the concept of "if it ain't broke don't fix it". Even though this solution works if you have 3-D, I suspect is true they have broken it for everyone who does not.For those who do have the feature, I suspect many like me have had to waste at a great deal of time figuring out what the heck they have done. My reason for being With Apple for years has been I spent most of my time working and less time fiddling which was always the problem with PCs and windows.I have already abandoned my MacBook Pro for windows 10 because Apple is starting to look so much more like Microsoft and Google . If they keep this up I will probably move to android on the next pass since the only justification for paying apples exorbitant prices is because they used to be so much more efficient and add free.

Sometimes this works then doesn't work. I wonder if the image is being saved to somewhere else?
Did not work for me.
Instruction were good but image still not saved to my photos.. if it is indeed saved, I'd like to know where!
Again, instruction easy to follow but image not saved (it is one of my own photos, btw, which I emailed to myself to save it to Photos).
