Iphone 7 and 7 plus's screen dimmer/yellowish than iphone 6 and 5s

Hi,

Is anyone facing the same issue as me when looking at their new iphone 7/7plus?

I noticed both the 7 model's screen resolution were more yellowish and dimmer than the previous models even though all of them had their brightness set to the maximum.

Does anyone have any idea why is it like that? Thanks!

Same issue here - i7 from AT&T. The screen has yellowish tinge that becomes easily apparent when comparing next to an iPhone 6. The whites on the iPhone 6 are much more white and true. iPhone 7 looks like crap in comparison.

And there's something screwey with my auto brightness. It keeps the screen very dim in a well lit room when it should be brighter. Very disappointed with my purchase and hope that Apple can patch this via software update. Changing the hue doesn't fix anything and wouldn't recommend anyone do that to try and fix this problem.

I waited 2 hours in the Apple Store yesterday (granted walk-in, but was originally told 30 min) to get my i7 ordered direct rom AT&T replaced due to this issue, and the new one has the same exact issue. Defective products at a high cost. Is this is the new normal we can expect from Apple?

I compared it to the demo i7's in store which didn't seem to have the issue. It's also the same model that apparently has slower Intel modems. Some acknowledgement from Apple would be a nice gesture. Otherwise I will jump ship first chance I get. I don't like being taken advantage of like this and wasting tons of time trying to figure out THEIR problem.

I got mine replaced (and wasted a whole day waiting practically) only to get a replacement phone with the same defects. I've considered selling it off or returning it for an SE, but haven't wanted to deal with anymore headache for now. Not sure I'll be interested in the next iPhone if it's going to be the same experience as this. It's unacceptable.

Yea, I found the same issue to my iPhone 7 Plus as well right after bought. Been talk to Apple Care Line, been to the place purchased, Apple Service Center, here and there. It is really caused me much of hassles to claim the device. At last, I give it up after days ago. Stay using it by adjusted the Colour Filters. If u guys have any latest update to solve the problem, kindly drop here thanks. 🙂
