Iphone 7 and 7 plus's screen dimmer/yellowish than iphone 6 and 5s

My iPhone 7 is sure a lot brighter and less yellow since I got the cataract removed from my left eye earlier this week. 🙂

Seriously though, this seems to be some sort of problem with some batches. I got mine on the day it came out and no problems with yellow/brightness, as noted with my right eye and now my left after surgery. The glue thing is totally bogus. Something else is wrong.

Well, my 8th replacement just arrived via FedEx. I was expecting the worst, but lo and behold it is a GOOD screen, no yellow, no dimness no flash-lighting. I think this is encouraging news for folks. KEEP ON RETURNING until you get a good one. FYI--I don't go through Apple Care for my returns (who knows what crap or refurbished garbage they may send you). I have been getting full refunds and buying outright again (not going through my cell phone provider, etc.).

I strongly encourage everyone on here to do the same. Maybe it is over-optimism at this point, but I'm hoping my initial observations prove correct and that I have at last found a good LCD.

I did get mine from a carrier, not the Apple Store. But I can still exchange at an Apple Store. I already tried that once and the one they had in stock appeared even dimmer than the one I had, so I didn't take the exchange. So rather than go store to store and exchange over and over again, I'm trying to work with Apple, showing them photos, etc., in the hopes they will find a good one for me and send it to me.

Well, I eat crow. The Apple Logo is messed up on the back of the phone. I guess I get to pick good screen with blemished Apple Logo or bad Screen with good Apple Logo. . .

What is the manufactured date?

They said, I can't.....if I get it from store...

EDIT: Looks like it was just glue residue on the shiny rear Apple Logo. Rubbing Alcohol took it off. Phone and screen are good. Manufactured week of 11-23 (11-21 to 11-27).

Don't fool with the idiots in the Apple Stores. Order online through Apple.com. No questions no hassle for returns, just hit the order button and a new one is on its way.

I have the same problem. I bought two iPhone 7 plus black in Berlin, Germany in December, both of them are "yellow screen". I went to Apple Store berlin and the demonstrate phones' screens there have different "colors": yellow, pink or purple......and it is even more obvious when you put these phones together and make a comparison. Mabe I have to buy an old style iPhone 6s......

I changed my 7+ for the third time and it got worse. I'll make a new exchange tomorrow

I have problem with my iphone either. It has a yellow tint and camera too.

It might be in "night shift" mode. Swipe up from the bottom and in Control Center check if the setting is on
