As it is most likely they added the sounds intentionally, they are not likely to view anything as broken. However, you can and should submit feedback to them letting them know how you feel. And, meanwhile, use a different app.

It is not a bug, but a terrible oversight. People who accidentally click twice can turn on all sounds. People who don't have no choice. It's ridiculous!

Anyone have a way to put a 3rd party calculator in that quick menu thing? (The menu on the bottom.)

No, there is no way to put a different calculator in the Control Center.

It's pretty clear it's not a bug or an oversight but a deliberate UI change. However, you should submit your feedback to Apple.

How annoying. I just found the calculator clicks when you type with the newest iOS. Turning the phone on silent stops this. But should we really have to Apple?

Although you're not addressing Apple here and speculation is prohibited, I think it is reasonable to infer from the fact that Apple has provided no other way to silence the clicks that, yes, you have to.

Use the feedback link already given to let them know how you feel. Meanwhile, consider using one of the many, many other calculators available in the App Store.

I'm supposed nobody from apple addressed this, although 2000+ ppl pushed the "me to" butt

I Hate to say it but the calculator ap has a mind of its own and the click sounds can't be turned off. Sorry.

I came into this blog having the same question, but just found out that the click on calculator use turns off when the phone on silent mod

True not a fix but an ear drum saver for sure! The headset magnified the clicks and although this is not a fix it is a welcomed workaround.

moreover, the "fix" only works when mute is OFF so, not working all the time... just disconcerting
