Replacement for MacBook 6 2 battery

If Apple cannot provide you with a replacement battery, then the answer is no (regardless of what the vendor tries to tell you). There are two third party batteries that have proven to be successful replacements by veteran ASC participants: Anker and NuPower from OWC. Anything else at this time is a crap shoot and avoid the 'bargain' batteries on ebay. They will cost you more in the long run.

Anker batteries are not sold by OWC but other vendors. You will have to shop around to find them.
