Same issue. I suspect it may have to do with power management because it began when my battery monitor became stuck at 100% too. Apple did remote into my phone and said the power management is throwing errors. I take it in tomorrow for a check up and imagine they will want to replace the battery. I have 28 months of very heavy usage on my 6. I will report back after the Apple Store does it's magic. I am hopeful I won't come away with a 7 $800 poorer.

It is definitely not power management related: I have been experiencing this problem on my iPhone 7 Plus since day 1. So have other people.

As for the utility of this forum, at least i found out thanks to it what are the appropriate channels for this problem to make it to the developers ears (the link I used and the support chat/phone line) and to learn that apple does not acknowledge the problem as a widespread one as of now (so no one is looking for a solution as they don't think there';s a problem).

If we keep the pressure they eventually will.... this problem is ridiculous

Same problem iphone 6 ios10.2.1

will not play videos just shot from iphone camera app, music over BT doesn't work sometimes, Voicemail over speaker or reciver will not play always have to restart phone

deleted settings and content off phone set up as new phone and still having the same problem happens at random times. was inform from support that after all the deleting and setting up as a new phone that the problem is hardware.

will leave feedback for iphones

Update: My 6 started to drain the battery monitor two days ago and after a few reboots the video recording option in camera returned. I've drained the battery to less that 20% and fully recharged a few times since. I skipped the visit to the Apple store and I am hopeful the flaky behavior is behind me.

Best wishes on your road to recovery...

Im tired of this craap .

I love the ios. But fck it!

They're not doing sht to fix their updates and its really annoying! I bought an iphone bcoz I loved its features but ***!

If this incident is happening only on 6 it means they dont giv a fck anymore about their previous models and They only prioritize their new models.

So im switching brands i wont stamd for ths sht anymore. I dont pay for phones just to get ths kind of service.

Was thinking on getting 7 but no thanks, if this happened to six today, it can also happen to any iphone when another higher model comes out.

I like iphone for its cleanliness and specs.

But now i think android is better with much more capabilities. Not to mention it can fckng play my recorded videos without restarting!

Oh well i just needed to let my frustration out.

Sorry for the bad words.

Same. IPhone 6+ and this seems to happen daily. The only resolution is to reboot. I've tried backing up and restoring my phone (Apple's first and only solution to iPhone problems, which incredibly lazy and sloppy), no luck.

Sometimes my phone just stops playing ANY video from ANY source, and it is basically making my phone unusable as a media device. Embedded video, YouTube, animated gifs, etc all just stop functioning until I reboot.

I'm using the latest iOS, this problem remains unresolved. It's seriously making me consider jumping not ship on Apple phones.

Finally fixed my iPhone 6 issue!!!! Apple isn't doing anything so I did. Moved back into a flip phone! Felt weird for a couple of days, but now it feels like it did before smart-phones were invented. Stress free and NOT chained to a company that has gotten too big for their customer base.

It didn't actually "fix" my iPhone 6, but now I'm wondering how I ever got sucked into the whole smart-phone game in the first place. I'm loving being iPhone free!!!!
