I'm also experiencing no sound issue on my iPhone 6, it started since the first release of iOS10. Videos buffer but wont play, Music Library plays but it doesn't have a sound, Notifications, alarm sounds, recording, they're all not playing. rebooting everyday *****

At this point, the only way to make apple developers aware is not posting on this forum (they won't read it), it is to send bug reports through the feedback tool. IF there are enough of them they will become aware of it.

Same issue here, ios 10.2, some videos i made with the phone can be played some not, i cant find any logic between them, embedded movies mostly cannot be played, restart didnt help. Anyone tried reset the phone?
Yup, similar issue here as well. My iPhone 6 worked great up until I installed iOS 10, so I have been installing the iOS updates (10.2 at this time) and hoping for a fix, but nothing has changed!!!
So... APPLE, please fix our issues, it's 2017 now, if we can't watch videos on our devices without having to power cycle or reboot them multiple times per day there is something wrong!!! AND, it is truly unconscionable that representatives of your company believe this "fix" is acceptable!!!
This is a bug in your operating system, this only began after installing iOS 10!!! Our issues are not device related, it doesn't matter if we're trying to stream a video, watch an embedded video, watch one stored locally or on our devices!!!
PLEASE FIX THE "OS" IMMEDIATELY!!!!
I have been having this problem for a long time, if i knew this would happen i never wouldve updated my ios really really *****. pls fix the issue right away. I know its already bugging many users now. Dont let this small issue break your brand name.
I face the same problem.
Since I have updated to 10.0.2 my iPhone doesn't play music or videos. Even Youtube videos or videos shared on Wassapp donot play.
I tried restarting the phone, but it doesn't solve the problem. It did solve the problem once I reinstalled Youtube but only for some time and the problem persists.
Any solution you've got until now? Please do share

rebooting help for few hours or days (for the luckier people) but the issue always comes back !!!!
I got the bug again in 10.2.
you're ignoring some of your customers for 6 month. what should we do for being listened ?!!!!!!! press ? class action ? what ?
Yup, I think you hit the nail on the head, WE have to start emailing news agencies and tech websites, as well as posting this "issue" on Tech Blogs...
Please, report this issue anywhere and anywhere you can!!! Everywhere from your local community newsletters, local news agencies and major news networks!!! We must be heard!!!
Exactly the same problem. None of the solutions offered helped. Went through full iTunes reset and same problem. It's an iOS bug. I think the best one can do is to contact Apple on their chat getsupport.apple.com and make the bug known to them. They do t seem to be aware as they told me they have no knowpledge of such an issue so it's not widespread. If it helps, here'S a YouTube video showing the problem explicitly.
if we are all vocal about it they will eventually solve it
I had the same problem on my iPhone 6 before Christmas and now have the same problem on my brand new iPhone 7 plus.
Apple need to get this iOS issue sorted as I use my phone for work and it's embarrassed me twice now not being able to show videos of our products working..
I think the only way is to get Apple to consider it a widespread problem (they do not at the moment). That can only be done by reporting it by phone or chat here https://getsupport.apple.com/
I thoroughly encourage all of you to report it! I have done so but they told me they do not have any logs of this as a widespread problem yet (people are not complaining about it)
Both phones now playing videos recorded on iphone 6 but new iphone 7 plus (128GB) has spinning wheel for first few seconds whilst iphone 6 (64GB) starts same iphone 6 recorded video straight away. Whatsapp and youtube videos also now playing on both but again with delay on iphone 7 plus
I am having to restart daily in iphone6 using iOS 10 in order to play videos. My phone ringer also goes silent on a regular basis and requires a restart to reactivity it. Both situations are creating major iinconveniences
