Siri gives odd response to my questions.

Siri frequently responds to simple question with "that's an interesting question" and then Siri closes. An example of a question that received that response is "Siri are there any coffee shops near me" Siri responds "Are there any coffee shops near you" "That's an interesting question Lisa." Then Siri closes. This has gotten so frustrating. Other problems with Siri are her closing when I'm midway through asking my question. Then there is the on again off again problem of Siri not understanding my. I have no hint of an accent. I have asked the same questions using the app "Hound" and I get responses.

What can I do to make Siri get her act together? This problem has occurred using earlier versions of IOS.

Thanks!

Lisa

I'm having the same problem on my 5s 😠. Siri often misunderstands my voice when asking a question and thus gives me the wrong information; for example, asking Siri to call or text a person in my contacts. It started when I updated to iOS 9.3.5. Tried all sorts of things to cure it a few weeks ago, but to no avail. I gave up. It's particularly bad in the car.

Will update to iOS around the end of the month. I want to see what else shakes out with that version before I do it.
