Email Continually Crashing on iPad with iOS 10

I Have the same problem !!!

i've had this problem too, but it appears that if you turn off the email threading in settings/mail that was added for IOS 10, my iPad 4 email no longer crashes, which it was doing every 3-10 emails before. So crossing my fingers and hope this helps other.

I just did this and so far it looks to have worked. I am going to let emails build up and try tomorrow night to make sure.

I'm still a bit disappointed though — threading was a useful feature and iOS 10 was supposed to be compatible with the 4th Gen iPad.

This is a step back in usability as the previous version had a different form of threading — now we have nothing.

I am still looking to Apple to correct this.

Despite turning off email threading as recommended in this thread, I am still experiencing frequent freezes in multiple apps that require a hard reset.

Hopefully next iOS update will have a fix for us ipad4 victims.

Good news: After the 10.1 update I turned email threading back on and haven't had a crash since.

iPhone 7- Apple email app crush. Called Apple help desk no resolution . Not expected from Apple . :(

By the way this I'm using 10.3.1

Still crashing with 11.0.2 Rubbish waiting for a fix...have a minute or so to find e mails
