wifi - No hardware installed

I have started my computer today and found out that I have no wifi. the only thing I can see is Wi-Fi - No hardware installed. Don't know what to do

Hi lanaMS,


I had the same problem and my solution on this website.

What you need to do is:


1. Plug your laptop into a charger.

2. Press and hold the Control, Shift, Option, and Power buttons down at the same time.

3. Release the keys.

4. Press the Power button to turn your computer on.


This worked for my Macbook Pro, so hopefully it'll work for your Macbook Air. Good luck!
