iphone 7 bose headphone mic not working when using adapter

Same problems. Both apple lightning headphones and Beats Solo 2 via adapter cannot get the mic to work at all - everything up to date.

Really not good enough!

Same issue. It's intermittent. I hope they resolve this soon. I find it hard to believe that they couldn't have tested this.

This needs to get fixed ASAP! Nobody can speak into their Bose headphones with the adapter.

"Nobody" is clearly a false statement. I have no problem using the mic on my Bose headphones with the adapter.

Absolutely. Since the original iPhone.

Nope. I still plug my Bose headphones halfway into the adapter until all the popping is finished. Others can hear me talk, but I can't answer or turn volume up from headset. It's a pain! Hoping the next iPhone update corrects this.

Just updated to 10.1.1 and guess what... it's working again. Tried already?

Strange, I have an iPhone 7 plus. Works.

Not sure on how to fix it on my end. I've reset all settings and it still doesn't work.

What did Bose say when you asked them about it? I've always found their support to be excellent.

I haven't reached out to Bose. I'm certain it's an iPhone/iPhone adapter issue.

I'm certain it's not, because my Bose headset works just fine with my iPhone 7+.
