Beats Studio Wireless 2 at Altitude
I bought a pair of these headphones mostly for airline travel. I love them on the ground - I'm no audiophile but they seem very good to me.
However, when I fly the headphones start to pick up feedback in the form of a sort of drum beat (2-3 per second). It's made worse if I sit back in a business class seat (I fly both Emirates and BA and their business class seats sort of wrap around you). I can stop the feedback merely by lifting the headphone off my hear for a moment. The feedback starts by itself again after a couple of minutes. If I cup the headphone with my hand the feedback starts immediately and does not stop when I remove my hand.
Apple are going to repair them, which of course is great news for me.
However, I am curious as to whether I am unlucky (seems that way as I can't find anyone else reporting this) or is this actually an issue for other frequent flyers and my Apple repair won't achieve anything as there is a design issue.
