Battery icon shows not charging after installing ios 10, although it still does charge but with no idea how long it takes

After installing IOS 10 my iPad mini 4 2 issues.

1) The battery icon shows not charging, although it still does but never shows that it is or the percent left to go. yet once you unplug the cord it does shoe the percent.

2) Email is no longer allowed to be deleted in bulk. each email has to be opened and deleted one at a time. This a huge waste of time, inconvenienceand a big step backwards since the 2 previous ios (8&9) allowed it.

Apple please fix ASAP!!!
