jbl clip 2 will not pair

I initially had problems pairing my clip 2 also. I was pressing and holding the pairing button until the light on the back flashed (becuase that is the way paring on most of my other Bluetooth devices works). This actually puts the clip 2 into the wireless daisychain mode to connect 2 clips together to the same phone. To pair you only need to do one short press on the Bluetooth button. Hope this helps!

I also had this issue. I don't know if I was being persistent or just got lucky but I am now able to pair my device.

While holding my phone in the Bluetooth search mode, I pressed the power button on the JBL clip 2 and almost immediately pressed the pair button (not at the same time). I'm not sure if I got lucky or if there is an issue with the JBL clip 2 pairing mode. Either way, this worked for me, hopefully it works for you too. Good luck.

UPDATE: The secret is to short press for pairing. Long press is only for daisy chaining!!!

Yes! I have the same problem! with TWO of them. I have a LG V 20 and an Iphone 7 plus.

I have tried everything....It WAS working and now it is not. Strange! Why did it disappear from my available devices if it did work? I bought my first one and it worked great for a long time....then I bought a 2nd...that one did not pair at all so I returned it. I bought another one, and then paired the two in stereo, and it worked great. The next day, neither of them pair! They pair to each other. I think what happened with me is that when they pair to each other, they wont seek the main device to pair to anymore! I have to find out how to reset these or unpair them to each other. Otherwise I own two expensive paperweights.
