Touch ID on Starbucks App doesn't work.

Hello: Let me start out by saying that Starbucks directed me to Apple Support. The Touch ID on their app. doesn't work. I deleted and reinstalled their app; turned off, in settings on my iPhone SE, the Touch ID & Passcode, iTunes & App Store and signed out of and into iTunes Store. Nothing so far, that way I'm asking the Apple Support Community for their assistance.

Mac Pro, iOS 8.1.3

Yes...I always had my Touch ID turned on in Starbucks APP for reloading my card but a few months back i started having an issue, Ever time I go in to reload card it asks for my password. The option for Touch ID is un-selected each time and each time i have clicked the button on and save...however it is still not saving....I am able to get into the App fine just can't reload with touch id anymore 😟 Hoping you can give me some wisdom since I hate tying up the line because I have to type my password.

Ah, I see. Guess I can try that and see what happens. Like you, I just rely on my Touch ID for security.


EDIT: Okay, turned on the passcode, then Touch ID, and it just stops at the passcode and does not recognize you are attempting to unlock with the passcode.


For the OP, I'm guessing they would need to verify this with the app developer, whoever is writing the code for the app.


P.S. I'm using an iPhone 6S.
