No signal iPhone 7 plus

I Was able to find an iPhone 7 plus black, worked well all day went to sleep and next morning no cell signal actual message was No Service. Tried resetting network services, remove the SIM card, resetting the phone. Tried same sim in another phone and it works. Seems to be a similar,at issue to those with the airplane mode issue. Now there is no stock of the phone I want and I'm stuck with a dead paper weigh. Any ideas?

I have been also affected by this issue for almost a month. My iPhone7 has been having this issue since I transferred the AT&T line from my iPhone6S:

- went to an Apple store and one of the "geniuses" told me to go and fix the issue with AT&T

- went to AT&T and they reset network settings and change the sim card for a new one and (after verifying it didn't solved the problem) they sent me back to the Apple Store because the issue was with the device.

- back in the apple store a different "genius" told me this time that "Apple is aware of the issue and is working on a software update" referring I suppose to the recent 10.0.3 version, which evidently I already tested and as expected it didn't work.

It's really disappointing and frustrating to see how, in every Apple Store, the "geniuses" act with such a fake surprised face when you explain this problem to them, like it's something new!

It's completely unacceptable that the store employees keep treating every customer like we were idiots or uneducated.

I've tried everything that a civilize citizen could do before loosing all kind of respect for a company that is just living in a bubble of fame.

Very pleased to report that the new 10.0.3 update has successfully resolved my connectivity issue. Today I traveled approximately six hours and 400 miles around NYC and CT and had no issues whatsoever losing signal. The entire time was with Waze running and had LTE service the entire time, along with a few simultaneous phone calls now that VoLTE was back on. To fully disclose, I also recently applied the "reset all settings" idea. While that idea seemed to help, it really did not work. However, I will say that the performance of my phone got better after doing that. It was a royal pain to go ahead and set everything up again, but in the end I have to say it was worth it because my phone is operating better than ever, and now with the new 10.0.3 patch, the connectivity issue is fixed as well. I have an iPhone 7 operating on Verizon, loaded from a previous iPhone 6 restore off AT&T's network. I am not sure if I brought any junk with me from my AT&T iPhone 6 back up, but I have to say the reset all settings feature really made a difference. For now, I am a happy camper. Thanks everyone here for all the ideas and the countless hours on support calls getting it up to Apple and Verizon to fix.

I applied the 10.0.3 Update and my phone has gotten better, but unfortunately, the problem with the no service message is not completely fixed. I still get the message in some areas. I get the best reception when I'm outside, but when I'm indoors, it'll occasionally drop signal. I've heard about many people getting replacement phones, but I am just going to roll with whatever challenges come and I know Apple will continue to look into the problem if it is persisting.

Lol definitely sounds llike a wide spread, the question is:

" is it because of a bad chip inside or design flaw, removed antenna bands" ? Or both? It's definitely not only the software issues, however software can help in some cases but not all. IPhone 7 has poorest signal from all iPhones back to 5s, I did test it with same network sim at same places, even my 7 failed to go into field test mode and here is the picture: User uploaded file

just freezes on this screen.

Its depends where you are , in Europe all comes with intel chip model is A1778 & A1774, if you want to buy with Qualcomm chip you need to get cdma model with number A1660 & A1661 . Verizon and Sprint has them in US . Interesting here is that despite Verizon one comes with the Qualcomm chips people still gets a lot of trouble with their phones. Here is the picture with models specks and numbers: User uploaded file
