No signal iPhone 7 plus

I Was able to find an iPhone 7 plus black, worked well all day went to sleep and next morning no cell signal actual message was No Service. Tried resetting network services, remove the SIM card, resetting the phone. Tried same sim in another phone and it works. Seems to be a similar,at issue to those with the airplane mode issue. Now there is no stock of the phone I want and I'm stuck with a dead paper weigh. Any ideas?

This may seem crazy but I also had the same problems with the I-phone 7 that I recently purchased. When I purchased my phone, I also purchased a lovely phone case that happened to be magnetic. After a few people told me that I was inaudible at times, something told me to remove the backing that came with this magnetic case. Once I freed my phone from the magnets, my problems went away. I figured that magnets are not good for pace makers, credit cards or some other electronic devices, so I assumed it wasn't any good for this phone also. I called someone while I was at a 22 Cinema movie theatre and I was way in the back & no where near windows. The phone call was clear.

I had the same issue and more.

What's app and Facebook app and messenger wouldn't show up under cellular data. So basically I couldn't use these apps because no data???

After chatting online with Apple for 2 hours still no solution!!!

Later on that day a freind had the same issue and told me the fix.

Go to settings

Cellular

Cellular data options

Cellular data network

Under

Cellular data

APN

Type in the field

Internet

All will work now

Also under personal hotspot do the same

Sean's the phone doesn't auto fill in these fields. All were empty

Apple help tried telling me my SIM card was no good or my carrier didn't allow this new phone?????

Haha

Not the case

FYI

My new phone was a unlocked phone also.

Good luck try my fix

All good

I have a Verizon iPhone 7 Plus and am experiencing the same issue where the cell signal is suddenly dropping in places where 4G service is strong. The phone shows, "no service" and the GPS signal is gone. Ironically, turning Airplane Mode on and off or turning the phone off and then on resolves it temporarily but it's happening frequently.

Wi11N, are you finding that it's only happening it when using GPS? When it happens on mine, it's generally when I am using the Waze app.

I am having the same issue with my iPhone 7 plus 256gb. I have a 6 plus that will have full strength LTE service and my iPhone 7 will lose connectivity and say "no service" while I am driving. I found I can restore it faster by switching airplane mode on, and then off, but this is extremely frustrating and I'm not sure if its just coming back on after moving out of the particular service area (antenna). I updated the SIM to the brand new one that came with the phone (I originally just transferred the one from my 6 plus into the 7) and was super careful to not touch gold contacts. I also reset network settings and did a full restore of my computer back-up image. I would be interested to see if anybody was able to resolve by just doing a fresh wipe and not restoring from an old backup. Please keep us informed because this is a significant issue.

The exact same thing happened to me. My iPhone 7+ worked fine the first day, but no service when I woke up the next day. I tried re-inserting the SIM card, resetting network settings and a full erase, but no luck. When i put the SIM in my iPhone 6, I get service just fine. Also tested the SIM from my wife's iPhone 7 and got no signal in my 7+ as well.

I called AT&T and they confirmed my SIM is good and they believe it is a hardware issue (or an Apple issue) and transferred me to Applecare, which they believe it is a hardware issue and set up an appointment for me with the local Apple Store. The Apple Store ordered a replacement for me, but they have no idea when they will get one. So for now, I have my SIM in my old iPhone 6 and my 7+ sits powered off in a drawer. The lady at the store was nice and understanding, but it's still a bit frustrating.

Hopefully the replacement doesn't have this issue. No idea if it is an iOS bug or truly defective hardware. I've seen this bug being reported by several people on forums, etc. but it's obviously not that widespread or we'd be hearing a lot more about it. Best of luck!

I Found a recommendation on a Verizon thread which said to go into settings, cellular, enable LTE, and switch it to data only. Although this shouldn't be viewed as a permanent fix it did help to resolve the constant loss of connection issues my phone has been experiencing Hopefully apple or Verizon can release a permanent solution sometime soon because this will remove the ability to make HD voice calls until a fix is released.
