Hi guys,
I've just upgraded my iMac to macOS Sierra this morning. I've got my external hard drive formatted NTFS using Tuxera NTFS. I've updated Tuxera and restarted the machine. However, I don't see the external hard drive mounted on Finder or Desktop as usual but I can see it on Disk Utility.
Does anyone experience the same or know how to fix this? Please help.

I have the exact same issue as well, except that I have a MacBook Pro, 256 GB, mid 2015.
Mine is iMax 27-inch, Late 2012, 3.4 Ghz Intel Core i7, 32GB Ram, 3TB. Not just that, the system seems to be pretty slow. Available hard disk is around 600+Gb.
Same exact issue, same exact model. Hopefully they fix it soon

I had this issue with my Seagate Slim external drive, and this worked for me. I do believe it works for other brands too, as I had a Seagate and a WD My Passport both connected last night working brilliantly!!
You might want to try Paragon NTFS software for mac - http://www.seagate.com/support/external-hard-drives/desktop-hard-drives/backup-p lus-desk/ntfs-driver-for-mac-os-master-dl/

Thanks I think this is very helpful. I was advised the same thing, let see if Tuxera fixes this sooner before I have to change to Paragon NTFS.
Hi! I have Paragon for NTFS, it came with my Seagate hard drive. I installed that as well, but to no avail. Thanks for the suggestion though!
Hi, I had this problem to. When I upgraded my disk was not connected. I have just shutdown connected my drive and started up again. All external drives are now showing up in Finder and my desktop.
For me it was as simple as disconnecting and reconnecting the drive. Now working with no issues. WD Passport with 2 x 1TB partitions.
I tried doing that as well, still not working for me. There's no problem with the hard drive as such, because I can access it on Bootcamp as well as on other computers. Any other solutions?

I fixed mine by reinstalling the Seagate drivers too!
