the operation could not be completed com.apple.mobilephone error 1035

I also have error 1035 setting up my custom voicemail w new iphone7plus

For those on AT&T, the following website fixed my 1035 error. (6s, 10.1.1) (hold down 1 on the phone keypad and go through the menus)

I Know I'm a bit late to this conversation, but I felt it necessary to point out to you that attempting to change your voicemail greeting using Apple's own voicemail interface is not "hacking" and will not render your iPhone "permanently disabled."

This problem still persists, and your response may confuse and frighten future readers.

For me, the error popped-up, however when I logged-in to T-Mobile, I found that the greeting had, in fact, been properly saved.

I have the same problem with sprint after an automatic carrier update hit. With the update, my outgoing message was killed and I could not record a new message.

Oh the error for that is very easy,

1.go to phone

2.go to dial pad

3.press 1

4.which will get you to the intro

5then on follow what you have to do(a robot will lead you then on)

By the way I have a iphone 7 not a iphone 7+

I got that same message, but when I called my cell phone and listened to the message, it was the new one I had just recorded. I don't know why I got the error message but it did work. No error!

Do you happen to know how to fix the voice mail error?
