Showing All Music On iPhone?

There used to be this option in Settings >> Music that would allow you to disable "Show All Music". In this way, I could only show the music I had synced to my iPhone. I've noticed this option is now gone entirely in iOS 10 and I'm forced to see all of the music I've ever purchased through my iTunes account. Yes, I can tap "Downloaded Music" to only see the synced music but I preferred the old method of disabling the iCloud music altogether.

Does anyone have a workaround for this?

You can hide items in your purchase history. To do this, all you have to do is delete a song that isn't downloaded to your device. It is definitely more time consuming to do this for each song than to only show purchased music, but for some reason Apple got rid of that option.

This includes information about doing this directly in the music app: Delete music, movies, apps, and other content from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

About hiding purchases in general: Hide and unhide iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store purchases - Apple Support
