Activity App

I have been using Apple Watch since more than one year which was synced to iPhone 6S. I have been using activity app quite regularly and was able to see my past activity records on iPhone 6S activity app. Recently I have changed to my older iPhone 5S and did not sync my apple watch to it. After couple of days, I switched back to my regular iPhone 6S using the back up from iPhone 5S. Since the back up did not have apple watch synced to it, the past data of activity app did not get transferred to the iPhone 6S.

Is there any way that I can get my past activity app data?

Hi MukundGuruji,

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities! I'm a bit unclear on the exact sequence of backups and transfers you are describing, but be aware that if encryption isn't enabled when backing up your iPhone, Health & Activity data will not be backed up (to protect your personal information), and therefore will not be transferred if you later restore from that backup:

Make an iTunes backup of your previous device

  1. Connect your previous device to your computer.
  2. Open iTunes and make sure that you have the latest version.
  3. Select your device.
  4. If you want to save Health and Activity data from your iOS device or Apple Watch, you need to encrypt your backup: Select the box called Encrypt [device] backup and make a memorable password.

Transfer content from your previous iOS device to your new iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Regards.
