How do I add a friend to game center in IOS 10?

I'm so mad about this update. For the past month I have constantly been search for a way to send friend invites. I can't socialize with friends through games. I may be able to get achievements from Game Center, but no friends. Is there a way to downgrade so I can invite friends and upgrade again, or am I stuck in this update where I can't play with friends? This is an update that has hurt gamers everywhere!

Bro I just got my own Apple ID so I agree and I don't have any friends on Game Center

Please Apple bring again the gamecenter app, I can play with my two kids because I added them in gamecenter app before ios10 but now can't play with my husband and my parents, very sad 😟
