Mail attachments disappeared with Sierra

After upgrading to Sierra, for all my encrypted emails (mime) the attachments disappeared.

I do not see anything just a question mark instead of the attachment in each email.

With a backup I reimported a second time the mails but it hasn't changed anything.

Is ti a Sierra bug ? How to solve it ?

More information:

I opened one email with an attachment directly copied from my El Capitan backup and opened it in Sierra Mail app by doublecliking. It was working perfectly the attachment was visible.

I searched the same email in Sierra Mail App and the attachment was not anymore readable (just a question mark appears instead).

Conclusion: I thing that, while importing mailboxes, sierra mail is corrupting a part of the emails (.emlx) which are after import not anymore readable !

I tried that previously, in response to a suggestion on this thread or another one on the same issue. Worked for a few minutes, but then back to the same behavior.

FWIW, I sent an e-mail with a photo from my iPhone recently. The sent mail, which appeared on my iMac retained the visibility of the attachment, even when the email was moved to On My Mac. And resending the same email from a POP account also retained visibility of the attachment.

After getting a new MacBook Pro that came with Sierra, I was unable to open any attachments in encrypted messages. I called Apple Support, and after a while, they came up with the work-around to draw the message to the desktop, then open the attachment from there. It is just a work-around. I got no statement about if and when this bug is going to be fixed. If they do not fix it soon, I'll return my new MacBook Pro. This is a core functionality, and I cannot accept that it remains unfixed for so long.
