Hi everyone, I updated my Iphone 6 (sprint) to iOS10 and since then my batter percentage is always 100%. The phone will die, I will charge it, it will go back to 100% and then never shows any lower number besides 100 until it dies. This happened exactly when I upgraded to iOS10 and the battery life/ percentage was fine prior. Any ideas or tips? Are others having this issue?

Lucky you, you got this right on time. I had to go thru the massive ordeal of restoring my music library from iCloud.
Apple actually should be clever enough to leave music not purchase thru iTunes untouched, but they thought everything in one place is a good idea, and that place is not in my local back up. What a nightmare...
Had the same problem on my iphone 6 (iOS 10). I tried everything suggested on this site- hard reset, starting the phone as new...Eventually I took the phone to the service. They concluded my U2 chip died, due to wrong charging (bad cable, charging in the car etc). They explained that chip couldn't display correct values of the battery and it caused draining the battery even on stand by or random shut downs (even when phone is on its 30% or so).They replaced the chip (70 euros) as well as battery (30euros). That solved the problem. Other solution- when phone is charged to 100%, put it on low power mode and there will be no shut downs. On the other hand you will not get the best of your battery life, cause the problem with chip will still persist. Two authorised apple services didn't want to replace the chip ("we don't do this, you give your old phone to recycle and add 500 euros to get a new one"). Hope this will help!
I'm having the same issue since ios10. I'm now on 10.1.1 on iPhone 6. Force restart didn't fix the issue.
Guess what? My issue is back. I can't get it to fix doing any of these methods.
That worked last time. It is happening again and that didn't work.
It seems i don’t have the 100% stuck issue now, but the battery drains really fast, I am talking about it can go from 100% to below 20% in less than an hour, while i might be using it sparingly. I will get the battery low warning, and if i plug it in it would jump to something like 75 or 80%. I am using the latest 10.1.1.
I spoke to Apple last night, they are aware of the issue with sudden drop/shutdown and are working on a fix but no ETA yet 😟
Thanks for sharing. It stopped with the 100% thing and now it just randomly shuts down when showing different amounts of battery life left.
For me it’s not so random, a 100% overnight charge couldn’t last a few rounds of Clash Royale, may be playing for 20 mins, then it becomes 20% with warning.

Didn't work for me
Checked in Genus bar, they diagnosed its the mother board problem, which not properly feed back the current capacity of battery. I wondered it may caused by bad charging cables.

Same for me. Hard reset doesn't do anything. The lowest I've been able to get my battery indicator to go is 92%
