Mouse problems with display port 1.2 in MST (4K display)

With macOS Sierra, there is strange thing with 4K display connected via DisplayPort in DP 1.2 MST mode (required for 60Hz refresh rate).

As the screen is split into two sub screens in this mode - mouse behaved differently on every half of the screen. It seems that right side of the screen has mouse offset of around 50 pixels.


With standard DP 1.1 mode there is no such phenomenon.


My hardware is: MacBook Pro 15" Late 2013, display: DELL UP2414Q

10.12.3 Beta 2 (16D17a) still not solving the issue.


Some have reverted to 10.11, I still put up with switching color profiles each time after sleep, you can access the settings quickly via spotlight.


If by 10.12.4 it's not fixed, I'll revert. For me reverting takes too long because of everything that would have to be reinstalled and reconfigured. Aside from this all good with Sierra. But *£$% is this annoying!

Same boat here - I'm not sure switching color profiles works for me - but in my case (late 13 MBP) the problem only shows when mirroring displays.


So I keep the lid open, have arranged the displays in such a way that I can't really "lose" my cursor to the other screen, and keep on using the external screen as the main display.


It puts up more heat on the MBP, as the video card has to drive both screens.


With all the information that have been posted on this thread and the other one, someone at Apple ought to have registered this issue at the very least 😟
