Will InDesign CS5 work with MacOS Sierra?

Has anyone tried to see if InDesign CS5 will work with MacOS Sierra? I have both Creative Cloud and CS5 on my machine but because of some of the stuff I have to work that only will work with CS5 to CS6 I have to keep my old software. I'm hesitant to upgrade to Sierra until I know if InDesign CS5 will work or not.

If any one has tested this, I'd appreciate the feed back, thanks.

It does not work! I just installed Sierra. When launching any Adobe CS5 software, it launches that Java notification to install "Java SE6". I updated to the latest version but I did not manage to run any of the products. I kept getting the same info: "To open “Adobe Photoshop CS5.app” you need to install the legacy Java SE 6 runtime."

For me it generally works fine but InDesign CS5's File Info dialog box works extremely sluggish. It can take up to minutes until it's open and operable, also switching tabs is extremely slow.

Other than that I haven't experienced any problems besides the old crash on exit.

For me using ID only sporadically it doesn't make sense to shell out $20 a month for ID CC. Probably the same for others here.

I downloaded the legacy Java for OS X 2015-001 as recommended but I still can't get CS5 InDesign or Illustrator to work anymore with Sierra. The icon just bounces in the dock until I Force Quit, despite restarts too. I'm wondering if I re-install CS5 that might work? If anyone has ideas beyond the Java download please let me know. I depend on it for work so I'm hoping to find a solution. Thanks so much!

Mine doesn't work. Can't seem to get help. I went thru different files and found that my Utilities Preferences Updater has "Update all CS4 programs" not CS5 which it should be but it won't let me change it. I didn't put CS4 in there because I don't know how to do all that stuff. So I'm assuming the update changed it. I didn't have any problem before. Can anyone help me? Please.
