I have been using Quicken 2007 since the year 2000. That is 18 years worth of data, & this version is better and simpler
to use then any other version that has come out since.....in my opinion. I am always hesitant to upgrade to a new MacOS on the chance it may not be supported. I have had no issues with Quicken 2007 since using MacOS Sierra 10.12.6. Has anyone tried it with MacOS High Sierra?
Found this on Quicken's site:
You may continue to use Quicken for Mac 2007 for as long as you like and for as long as it continues to run, but be aware that the product may stop working if Apple removes legacy technology, which Apple has warned will happen in a future version of Mac OS X. We’ll update this webpage if we discover that a version of Mac OS X has been released that will prevent Quicken for Mac 2007 from running.

I Would like to know if the quicken that works with sierra works on the new touchbar MacBook Pro.
I do not have access to that machine to try it, but for $15 you can purchase Quicken 2007 and see if it would work!
How do you update Quicken 2007 for Mac to 16.2.4 (build 25.886.100)
Yes, it works just like it did in 2007.
Right now I do not know what can replace it. I like the reports, the investment tracking, etc. so I will continue until I can get a suitable replacement.
Does it do investments? Stock splitS? Keep track of lots? Customizable reports?
can the text on the screen be enlarged like a modern app?
what doesn't it do?
who owns it?
Glad to see you have written to the new CEO about all this!
