"A problem occurred with this website so it was reloaded"

I am constantly getting this message: "A problem occurred with this website so it was reloaded"

This started out as happening only ocasionally, but now has increased so much that it happens 3,4,and 5 times on the same webpage. And it appears to be arbitrary. On some webistes this never happens, while on others it does. And it is not consistent, as the same website will have this problem at times,and at other times not. And these are not small obscure websites, but sites like The NY Times, Huffington Post, Politico, Wired, MacWorld etc.

As a person new to all this, any help would be sincerely appreciated. (And I would prefer to stay with Safari if that is possible)

I did do this, but it unfortunately did not work

I was wondering whether there might be any other suggestions?

I'Ve experienced it too and my feeling is that some way that the page is coded is conflicting with Safari. Have you tried to use another browser on the same site to see if you have the same issue?

If the issue continues then there is likely something wrong with the page, if not, then its a safari bug. Unfortunately even if it is a safari bug it may be something you just get used to and see if they fix it or find a work around.

I had this issue with the iPhone 6 Plus and I brought it into my Apple Store... They pretty much figured out that the phone was running out of RAM on some web pages and it was causing the browser to crash. We tried 3 or 4 different iPhones that day and all of them exhibited this failure.

I sold the phone and switched back to Android for awhile but eventually returned with an iPhone 6s Plus purchase that does not exhibit this problem.
