I'm really wondering if it's related to (DIY) fusion drives now... is anybody else experiencing this issue using a fusion drive?
I like this suggestion, as I have the same problem. Easy to just prevent from sleeping when connected to power, but would be nice to let it sleep on battery. I cannot find an option to get the OS to shut of BT before it sleeps. Is there a way to do this or do I need to manually turn of BT every time I close the lid? Thanks!
It has been my experience that leaving iMessage on when the MacBook goes to sleep creates an issue when waking up. Probably a good idea to quit apps before sleep.
Thanks Tony. This seems to have worked for me.
I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013) which was crashing every time it went into sleep mode after installing iOS 10.12.
I have the same issue running Mac OS (Sierra) 10.12.3 on Macbook Pro 13" (Mid 2010). I have tried various troubleshooting steps mentioned in this thread and elsewhere.
Hi.
I disabled bluetooth on mine, but it didn't help.
Any other suggestions?
MBP early 2011.
I already reset NVRAM...
F.
Same issue, attempted same fixes, same results. Boo.
My Macbook pro came with Sierra and from the very beginning it started hanging after sleep. But my Macbook air works fine with the same OS. Any advice?
Turning off bluetooth does not fix the issue for me. Acutally I never had turned on bluetooth.
BTW: For me the issue came up first with High Sierra.
